Titina Loizidou is a licensed Cyprus Tourism Organisation Guide since 1974. In Cyprus she trains at the School of the Guides of Cyprus Tourism Organisation and other private institutions. As a Lead International Trainer of the World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations she has trained at the International Training Centre in Cyprus, Egypt, Ethiopia and Greece.
She is a Past President of the WFTGA and CTGA, and the founder of the ‘Week Get to Know Cyprus’ as well as the initiator of the International Tourist Guide Day. She organised the first training programmes of the WFTGA in Cyprus as well as trainings of the WFTGA during the conventions (1993 – 2001). She was instrumental in establishing the International Training Centre in Cyprus. She represented Cyprus as an expert for the CEN standard for the Professional Qualifications of Tourist Guides.
