Train the Trainer Courses have recently taken place in Nicosia, Cyprus and in Singapore.

The World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations is a not for profit association registered under Austrian law following the second convention held in Vienna in 1987. With members from 80 countries  the WFTGA represents well over 150,000 individual Tourist Guides. WFTGA has established an international network of professional tourist guides. WFTGA leads the global forum for the tourist guides around the world today.

Our Training Division has some of the most highly qualified tourist guides,  consultants and trainers from around the world.

  • Hands On Tourist Guiding Course (HOT) - 7 working days
  • Train the Trainer Course (TtT) - 12 working days
  • Cruise Guide Training (CGT) - 1 or 3 day courses

All our courses can be delivered on location around the world. Train the Trainer Courses are also delivered at our International Training Centres in Nicosia Cyprus and Sabah Malaysia.

Hands on Guiding course - HoT- is suitable for guides who would like to improve their skills. 

Train the Trainer course - TtT- is for guides who would like to work as guide trainers and for those who are already working as guide trainers and would like to improve their skills.

Cruise Guide Training Online is also available for WFTGA Members.
