While the Closing Ceremony marks the end of the Convention for many, for you the adventure is just beginning. We are delighted that you are joining the Post-Programme.

Departure Logistics

  • Luggage: Please pack a day bag and bring all luggage to the Convention Centre (last drop-off 12:00 PM).
  • Shuttles: Departures from Hotel Okura begin at 8:00 AM.
  • Closing Ceremony: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Convention Centre.
  • Departure: All 11 buses to Nagasaki depart immediately after the ceremony.

Post Tour – Personal Details (Feb 13–14)

For the first two days, your bus number and hotel remain the same. When the Original and Alternative programmes split on 15 February, bus numbers may change.

February 13 – Japan’s First Cosmopolitan City

After the ceremony, we travel together to Nagasaki.

  • Peace Hall & Atomic Bomb Museum: Introduction to Nagasaki’s history and mission for peace.
  • Networking Dinner: The Global View Nagasaki.

Coach transport will be provided directly to the dinner venue.

February 14 – The Legacy Project

Participants will be divided into groups to ensure a smooth experience at the historic venues:

  • Hypocenter & Peace Park: Reflection at the epicentre of 1945.
  • Legacy Project Ceremony: Offering of paper cranes folded by Convention participants.
  • 26 Martyrs Monument & Museum: Visit to Nishizaka Hill.
  • Dejima: Historic gateway between Japan and the West.
  • Glover Garden: Western-style residences overlooking Nagasaki Harbour.
