Select a hand-sized, unpainted pottery doll, representative of the famous Fukuoka local craft, Hakata Dolls.

Personalize your chosen doll by painting it with your favorite colors, transforming a simple mold into your own piece of collectible art. While you work, you can explore the shop’s extensive gallery, featuring approximately 800 stunning dolls created by renowned Hakata Doll craftsmen, offering both inspiration and insight into this traditional art form.

The painting session itself will be 90 minutes.

• Meeting Point: FICC 1st Floor Lobby (Ground Floor)

• Meeting Time: 13:30 PM

• Transport: A chartered bus will take the group close to the Hakata Doll shop Shougetsudou (with just a couple minutes of walking).

• Return: The class officially concludes at 15:30; the shop is close to the official convention hotels and you’re free to return on foot. If you’d like to go back to the FICC a will take you back by subway.
