Engage in a creative session where you design your own unique paper lantern. You will have the opportunity to draw personal pictures, meaningful symbols, and letters.

Challenge yourself by attempting to paint your name using Japanese characters! This is a perfect hands-on souvenir, as your finished lantern includes a battery-operated LED light.

The painting session itself will be 60-90 minutes (depending on your painting speed). 

• Meeting Point: FICC 1st Floor Lobby (Ground Floor)

• Meeting Time: 13:30 PM

• Transport: A chartered bus will take the group close to the lantern shop Kadota Chouchin (with just a couple minutes of walking).

• Return: The class officially concludes at 15:30; the shop is close to the official convention hotels and you’re free to return on foot. If you’d like to go back to the FICC a will take you back by subway.
