Visit Beppu, Japan’s premium hot spring resort. With steam rising from the earth and the smell of sulfur in the air it really feels like a different world.

To ensure a seamless experience at these popular sites, the coaches will visit the locations below in turn:

Beppu Bamboo Craft Traditional Industry Hall: A museum showcasing the intricate artistry of Beppu’s centuries-old bamboo weaving tradition, featuring everything from daily tools to masterpieces.

Chinoike Jigoku: Known as the “Blood Pond Hell,” this is Japan’s oldest natural hot spring, famous for its striking, vermillion-red water colored by natural iron-rich minerals.

Beppu Transportation Center: A convenient central hub where you will enjoy a final regional lunch and have the chance to browse a wide variety of local Kyushu souvenirs.

Umi Jigoku: The “Sea Hell” is a stunning, cobalt-blue hot spring that looks like a calm ocean but sits at a boiling temperature, surrounded by lush gardens and lotus ponds.

Myoban Onsen: A historic hillside hot spring district famous for its unique straw-roofed “huts” used to harvest medicinal alum and its distinctive sulfur aroma.

Lunch at the Beppu Transportation Center
