This workshop will introduce tourist guides to the basic principles for successful communication when they are guiding groups. The participants will learn not only how to structure their message but mainly how to communicate it in a successful way to their audience. The effective communication is important to create satisfied visitors who can appreciate and respect the cultural heritage, thus contributing to sustainable tourism. The workshop is suitable both for beginners and experienced tourist guides since it raises awareness regarding the importance of communications skills for our profession.
