Meeting Place: Lobby of Hotel Okura

Meeting Time: 08:30 AM

Ask anyone who’s been to Japan and they’ll tell you that using the bathroom here is an almost spa-like experience. The TOTO Museum in northern Fukuoka Prefecture, operated by the country’s biggest sanitary manufacturer, is dubbed the “Toilet Museum” and delves into the cultural and technological history of sanitary development. You will trace the evolution of high-efficiency, water-saving technologies that set global standards for sustainable plumbing, and also gain a unique perspective on everyday life in Japan.
You will also experience the historical side of Kitakyushu by visiting Kokura Castle, a feudal fortress that played a crucial role in regional defense for centuries.

(All Study Tours include a visit to Hakata Old Town, Fukuoka City’s historic merchant center, and the Fukuoka City Museum)

Lunch is included. Location to be announced.

The day ends at the Fukuoka City Museum, the venue of that day’s networking dinner.
