This interactive workshop brings together tourist guides and other tourism professionals from around the world for dialogue, reflection, and creative exchange. Against the backdrop of climate change, technological shifts, and evolving travel behaviors, participants will explore how guiding can become a force for truly sustainable change. Through inclusive facilitation and thought-provoking questions, the session encourages active participation across cultures and levels of experience. Together, we’ll imagine new possibilities for guiding practices and co-create ideas to take back home – aiming to make sustainable tourism the norm rather than the exception. In this 90-minute session, you will engage in a mix of group discussions and small breakout activities designed to spark reflection, connection, and practical insight. The workshop welcomes up to 20 participants and offers space for every voice to be heard. Who should attend: Tourist guides and other professionals who are curious, open to change, and ready to help shape a truly sustainable future for tourism – whether seasoned experts, newcomers, or tour operators. Join us and contribute to a growing global movement redefining the role of guides as agents of transformation!
