It’s finally time — the 21st WFTGA Tourist Guide Convention in Fukuoka, Japan is about to begin.

The weather here is a crisp 5°C (41°F). Whether that feels mild or chilly, the warmth of the local people and the incredible food will make you feel right at home. The first plum blossoms are already starting to bloom — just in time to welcome you.
Welcome Desk
From 4 February, our team will assist you at:
- Airport (International Terminal): Arrival Lobby
- Airport (Domestic Terminal): North & South exits
Hakata Station: No desk — look for volunteers at the Shinkansen Central Gate.
Convention App
In the app you will find:
- Your hotels and tours
- Meeting points and starting times
- Group numbers
- The full programme
- Photo sharing
- Raffle tickets (from Monday)
The app always shows the latest updates about hotels, groups, and schedules.
Technical Helpdesk
If you need help with the app or your smartphone, ExBo member James Saunders will assist with:
- Installing and using the app
- Google Maps navigation
- Smartphone translation tools
- General smartphone questions
