Western Japan Social Media Contest – Show Your Best Moments & Win Big!

We are delighted to launch the Western Japan Social Media Contest — a special initiative celebrating the culture, landscapes and experiences of Western Japan in connection with the WFTGA Convention 2026 in Fukuoka, Japan. This contest is open to all WFTGA members, regardless of where you are located!

🏆 Grand Prize

One winner will receive:

Round-trip flights to Fukuoka, Japan (up to ¥200,000) for two people
A 2-night hotel stay in Fukuoka for two people

This is your chance to experience Western Japan in person!

In addition there are three regional prizes:

The Fukuoka Award
The Kyushu Award
The West Golden Route Award

All will be in the form of Amazon gift cards with a value of 10,000 JPY

📅 Submission Period

1 February – 28 February 2026

All entries must be submitted within this period to be eligible.

📷 How to Enter

Entering is simple — and you can participate even if you are not currently in Japan:

1. Capture your content
Take a photo, record a video, or create a Reel (videos and Reels must be 30 seconds or less).

2. Post your photo, video or Reel on

3. Include the required hashtags

In your post caption, include both:

- #wftga2026
- #[location] — the name of the place depicted in the image (e.g. #Fukuoka, #Kyoto, #Nagasaki, etc.)
  - the location must be part of Western Japan as specified here

That’s it! Your entry will then be considered for the contest.

📌 Content Guidelines

Photos, videos and Reels must showcase the beauty, culture or uniqueness of Western Japan.
Video and Reel entries must be no longer than 30 seconds.
Make sure your post is public so it can be viewed and judged.

🧠 Tips for a Winning Entry

Capture authentic scenes — landscapes, cultural experiences, people, architecture, festivals or unique guiding moments.
Think creatively with composition, light, storytelling and local character.
Use clear and engaging captions to share the story behind your image.

The Grand Prize winner will be selected after the submission period and announced towards the end of March, 2026.
