We are thrilled to announce that the application process for the WFTGA Convention 2026 Scholarship Programme will open in August 2025. This scholarship aims to provide 1–2 Tourist Guides from Tier 4 or Tier 5 countries, as classified by the World Bank, with the opportunity to attend the 19th WFTGA Convention.
The scholarship, inspired by the legacy of the Jane Orde Scholarship, is dedicated to supporting tourist guides from economically challenged regions, empowering them to participate in this global gathering, exchange knowledge, and strengthen their professional networks. The list of eligible countries can be found in the Membership Section of this website.

Applications Open: August 2025
Who Can Apply: Practising Tourist Guides who are active members of their national tourist guides association and reside in World Bank Tier 4 or 5 countries
What is Covered: The scholarship covers convention registration fees and may include partial travel and accommodation support.
