Pre-Convention Programme
for Delegates (optional)
To accommodate the General Assembly on Sunday, we are offering a special Pre-Convention Programme exclusively for Delegates.
This programme ensures you return to Fukuoka one day earlier than regular participants, giving you time to prepare for the Assembly.
The itinerary mirrors the main Pre-Programme but with adjustments for an early return.
Saturday, 5th February 2026
Arrival and Welcome Cocktail (optional)
- Check-in at your designated hotel in Fukuoka (one night earlier than standard participants).
Join us for an exclusive Welcome Cocktail Reception, where you can meet fellow delegates and WFTGA board members in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sunday, 9th February 2026
General Assembly (Part 1)
- The General Assembly – Part 1 will take place throughout the day.
- Reports from the President and Regional Representatives.
- Financial overview and strategic goals for 2026–2028.
- Discussion of motions and proposals.
Key topics include:
- Delegates are required to attend the entire session.
- Venue: Fukuoka International Congress Center (FICC)
- Meals: Coffee breaks and lunch are provided.
Thursday, 13th February 2026
General Assembly (Part 2) & Elections
- During the Main Convention, delegates will participate in the General Assembly – Part 2.
- This session focuses on:
Elections for the WFTGA Executive Board.
Voting on proposals and policy changes.
Election of future convention hosts.
- All votes will be conducted according to WFTGA protocols.
- Venue: Main Auditorium, Fukuoka International Congress Center
Convention Venue
All meetings will take place on the 5th floor of the Fukuoka Convention Centre, in Room 504.
Refreshments will be available in the foyer on the same floor.
💻 Online Streaming of the General Assembly
We understand that not all Delegates may be able to travel to Japan. Therefore, both General Assembly sessions (Part 1 and Part 2) will be live-streamed online.
- This virtual access is free of charge for registered Delegates.
- You do not need to purchase the Virtual Participant Package to join these sessions.
- Registration for online participation will open in January 2026 and is handled separately from your main convention registration.
- All registered online Delegates will receive secure login details and a digital information pack.
