The Kyushu Association of Interpreters, Translators and Guide-Interpreters (K-iTG) was established in April 2018, and registered as the first Training Institution in Japan by the Japanese Government (Japan Tourism Agency). We are based in Fukuoka City, Kyushu Island. We focus on regular training for national-licensed Interpreter-guides in Japan (virtual & in-person), organizing seminars and classes to get licenses required by International/domestic travel agents, and hold a number of training sessions not only for tour guides (history, culture, risk management, cuisine including Japanese Sake etc.) but also for consecutive and simultaneous interpreters.
