Registration

This is a multi-step registration process. While the Convention is hosted under the patronage of the WFTGA, the local organiser and official host is K-ITG (Japan). Accordingly, the event will be conducted under Japanese law.

To ensure a smooth registration and payment experience – particularly regarding legal and financial procedures for incoming international participants – we have partnered with the experienced Professional Congress Organiser Nishitetsu Travel.

Instruction

Preparation for Registration

Please have the following items ready for registration:

An image or PDF copy of your passport
If you are attending as a delegate: a letter of support from your Tourist Guide Association

Important note for room sharing:

If you wish to share a hotel room with another participant, the registration must be completed jointly in a single process – not separately. You will need all contact details and a passport copy of the accompanying person.

Please note: Payment will be made collectively at the end for both persons. However, individual invoices can be issued afterwards upon request.

Terms & Conditions and Participation Type

At the bottom of the introduction page, you must first accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies of WFTGA and K-ITG. After this, you will be forwarded to select your participation type: either in-person attendance in Japan or online participation only.

Initial Entry – Email and Name

In the Japanese system, you will first enter your email address and name. You will then receive an email with a personal access link to continue your registration.

Access Credentials and Login

The email will include both:
- a unique registration link
- and a password for future login to your account

This ensures that you can return later to complete or review your registration.

Complete Registration Form

Once logged in, you will complete all required personal details. If registering as an in-person participant, the next steps will guide you through:
- Hotel booking
- Additional nights
- Optional packages (pre / post programm

You may also register your accompanying person at this stage. They do not need to register separately.

Payment Options

At the final step, you can choose between:
- Credit Card
- Bank Transfer

Please note: any transfer fees must be covered by the participant to ensure full receipt of the payment.
