The professional voice for tourist guides — now teaching it

The WFTGA Academy is where the Federation’s training work lives: our certified course pathway, the CPD sessions our members run for one another, and the trainers who deliver them across 50 countries.

Every course here is built on the same conviction — that a tourist guide is a licensed professional with local knowledge, and that the craft can be taught, assessed and kept sharp.

The WFTGA training pathway

Five certified courses and one continuing programme. HOT teaches the craft, TtT teaches you to teach it, ITtT qualifies you to teach it internationally — and CPD keeps everyone current in between.
