A seven-day Hands On Tourist Guide Training Course at the WFTGA International Training Centre in Nicosia, delivered by WFTGA International Trainers.
The course runs daily from 09:00 to 17:00 and combines classroom sessions with practical guiding on walks, at sites and museums, and on the coach. Certificates are issued jointly with the University of Cyprus.

The course is delivered in English. Practical assessments and written or oral examinations are conducted in English, so participants need a working knowledge of the language.

Assessment is by practical guiding assessment and written and/or oral examination. Depending on results, WFTGA issues a Certificate of Successful Completion or a Certificate of Attendance.
This course covered the practical skills of tourist guiding: the structure and delivery of guided walks, site and museum visits and coach commentary; positioning, voice and pacing; group management; handling of questions and difficult situations; and structured peer feedback. Participants completed practical guiding assessments and a written and/or oral examination.
