WFTGA Global Brand Ambassador Maricar Donato at ICCA North America Association Insight Circuit

On June 2, 2026, WFTGA Global Brand Ambassador Maricar Donato joined fifteen association leaders representing organizations connected with BestCities Global Alliance at the ICCA North American Association Insights Circuit. The event focused on the future of international meetings through expert facilitation, peer exchange, and collaborative problem solving. Maricar shared her work on the Global Networking Forums and WFTGA’s ongoing efforts to promote collaboration and action-driven initiatives to address challenges facing tourist guides around the world. According to Maricar, “One aspect that particularly resonated with me was ICCA’s structured approach to collaboration—guiding participants through problem framing, peer dialogue, creative thinking, and collective action. It reinforced the power of creating intentional spaces where every participant contributes to developing solutions.”
