Global Networking Forum

Global Networking Forum

Connecting Guides Worldwide

The Global Networking Forum is an inclusive platform created to connect professional guides and related industry peers across every continent. Hosted by the WFTGA Area Representatives, it aims to foster meaningful dialogue and cooperation, transcending organisational membership boundaries. Participation is open to all professionals engaged in guiding or visitor-facing interpretation โ€” from Tourist Guides, Heritage Guides, and Nature Guides, to Museum and Church Guides, Cruise Managers, Tour Managers, Tour Directors, and beyond.

Our vision is to provide a truly global space where guiding professionals can share experiences, seek advice, and collaborate directly with one another. You do not need to belong to an association that is a WFTGA member; this forum is designed to welcome everyone working in the guiding and tourism-related sectors.

WhatsApp Groups

To make networking even more accessible and relevant, we have established dedicated WhatsApp groups for each continent. This structure reflects the reality that guiding professionals within the same continent often share similar themes, challenges, and tourism development patterns. These groups offer a space for peer-to-peer exchange in a familiar context โ€” whether itโ€™s sharing local updates, discussing emerging trends, or collaborating on cross-border projects within the region.
