The election process for the new WFTGA Executive Board is officially open, and we’re looking for dedicated members ready to help shape our Federation’s future.

What’s New This Year

For the first time, candidates can apply directly for specific portfolios. This means you’ll be elected for the role that matches your skills and interests – whether that’s Training, Membership, Public Relations, Convention Coordination, or an Open Portfolio where you bring your own ideas.

The positions of Vice President and Secretary will be appointed by the newly elected ExBo from among its members after the election.

How to Apply

We have developed a comprehensive application form with tailored questions for each portfolio position. This allows you to showcase your relevant skills, experience, and vision for the role you’re applying for.

Before you apply, please ensure:

  • ✅ You are a qualified and active tourist guide
  • ✅ You are a member of a WFTGA member association in good standing
  • ✅ You have obtained a letter of support from your association

The application form will ask you to:

  • Select the position(s) you’re applying for
  • Provide your professional background and WFTGA experience
  • Answer position-specific questions designed to highlight your suitability
  • Upload your CV, a recent photo, and your association’s letter of suppor

📅 Deadline: 30 January 2026, 12:00 (noon) CET

You don’t need to attend the Convention in person – online participation in the candidate presentations (8 February) and elections (12 February) is fully supported.
