Chiaki Sakaida
Senior Researcher at the Kyushu National Museum
Chiaki Sakaido is a senior researcher at the Kyushu National Museum, specializing in Ceramics. She received her M.A. in Fine and Decorative Art from the Sothebyʼs Institute of Art, Manchester University, in England. Her research interests focus on Japanese Ceramics, especially Old Imari Wares. She’s curated and participated in numerous exhibitions held at the Museum. Particularly, she curated and published the catalogue of the exhibition “The Splendid Old Imari Ware of the Ogori Country Club Collection” held in 2025 which ended with remarkable success.
