Prof. Anna de Jong

Anna de Jong is a professor in tourism and regional development with the School of Social and Environmental Sustainability, University of Glasgow, with a background in human geography, tourism management and philosophy. Anna’s research takes focus with tourism management and governance in regional areas, guided by wider concerns of resident inequalities and political participation. Originally from Australia but now residing in Scotland, Anna has worked on projects in Australia, Spain, Ghana, Nigeria, Sweden, Norway and the UK, funded by the Australian Department of Education and Training, Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Research England and the UKRI.
