The WFTGA Executive Board and Convention Team are pleased to announce the list of 2024 Bidding countries and Associations.

We were extremely impressed with the high quality of the submissions. Having received an unprecedented amount of submissions to host the WFTGA 2024 Convention we will be featuring an elimination round towards the end of November 2021. 

We thank all participating Associations for their hard work and dedication shown in getting to this point and look forward to working with all of them in coming weeks and months.

We will be sharing more about these bids on our social media platforms in the coming weeks. Be sure to follow our official WFTGA Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn as we will be sharing the bidding country presentations.

In Alphabetical order of country:

ITALY

Italy’s National Association of Tourist Guides (ANGT) in association with the Association of Tourist Guides of Syracuse (AGTS) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Syracuse, Sicily.


JAPAN

The Kyushu Association of Interpreters, Translators and Guide Interpreters (K-iTG) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Fukuoka, Japan.


KAZAKHSTAN

The self regulated Association of Guides and Tourist objects (SAGT) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Almaty, Kazakhstan.


MALAYSIA

Sabah Tourist Guides Association (STGA) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Sabah, Malaysia.


RUSSIA

The Russian Tourist Guides Association (RTGA) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Moscow, Russia.


SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Tour Guides Association (SaTGA) bid to host the 2024 WFTGA Convention in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
