Thanks to the last WFTGA Convention in Siracusa, “Team Japan” for inviting WFTGA 2026 Convention has been smoothly converted into the Host Committee.

• We had a kick-off session at K-iTG Annual Assembly with 90 attendees of professional guides, travel agencies and local governments on June-8.
• At the session, we performed “Dontaku” – the local festival dance again and reported about the last Convention.
• We are now calling for colleagues and local partners working for 2026 Convention together with us.

Public Relations Activities

• In February, the Host Committee representatives had visited on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation, and expressed our gratitude to the Vice Minister.
•  Members of the Host Committee are now actively working for reviewing the plan and calling for sponsorships.
• On June-24, Host Committee representatives made a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Fukuoka City and explained about WFTGA Convention.
